Who We Are

EZSnowRemoval is built for dense Squaw Valley, CA corridors, mixed-use blocks, residential towers, and boutique retail strips. We pre-walk sites to tag hydrants, bike racks, planters, and curb cuts so nothing gets damaged. Crews operate with low-noise practices for pre-dawn mobilizations.

Communication is constant: you get mobilization alerts, in-progress snapshots, and completion timestamps. High refreeze risk triggers overnight passes so entrances stay safe for the morning commute.

Services

Plowing & Snow Push

We clear curb lanes, alleys, loading zones, and residential approaches with compact plows and articulated loaders. Stacks are placed to keep signage and pedestrian sight lines open.

De-Icing & Anti-Icing

We pre-treat concrete with brine and hit shady stoops or slopes with calibrated melts. Usage logs help you document sustainability and spend.

Sidewalk & Stair Care

Sidewalk teams focus on steps, ramps, bike corrals, and crosswalk mouths to prevent slips. Fine melts keep landscaping protected.

Snow Relocation

If piles overwhelm space, we relocate or haul during low-traffic windows to keep curbs and hydrants accessible.

Refreeze Patrols

Overnight checks catch meltwater refreezing near drains, awnings, and north-facing walls.

Our Process

Pre-Storm: we map your Squaw Valley, CA block, mark hazards, pre-stage melts, and set communication windows. During snow, we run loops hitting entrances, ramps, docks, and crosswalk entries repeatedly. Post-Storm: we scrape down, clear drains, open fire access, and treat for overnight refreeze.

Documentation: every visit is logged with times, materials, and photos so you have proof for boards, insurers, or city inspectors.

By 1942, Wayne Poulsen, a former star skier from the University of Nevada, had acquired 2,000 acres (810 ha) in the valley from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Poulsen met Alex Cushing, a Harvard University-trained lawyer, in 1946 while Cushing was vacationing at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. During his vacation, Cushing toured the valley at Poulsen's invitation and decided to invest in building a ski resort there. Unlike Poulsen, Cushing had the political connections and access to the capital necessary to create a ski resort. In June 1948, the two founded the Squaw Valley Development Company and Cushing replaced Poulsen as president of the Squaw Valley Development Corporation by October 1949. Squaw Valley Ski Resort opened on Thanksgiving Day 1949. The resort was constructed with $400,000 raised by Cushing, including $150,000 of his own money. The creation of the Squaw Valley Development Corporation and Squaw Valley Ski Resort mark the modern era of the valley.
